Dr. Christopher Taylor was born and raised in southern California. Dr. Taylor completed his undergraduate studies at the UC Irvine. He completed medical school at Drexel College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA in 2001. He completed 2 years of a General surgery internship and residency at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington DC. He completed a Burn Rehabilitation fellowship at the same institution before he transitioned to his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Dr. Taylor completed advanced specialty training in interventional spine, musculoskeletal, sports & pain medicine with Portner Orthopedics in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Dr. Taylor is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is one of the founders of WIMAH, the Worker’s Injury Medical Association of Hawaii and currently on the Board of Directors. He co-founded and is currently on the Board of Directors of the Hawaii Society of Pain Physicians. He is past Vice-President of the Hawaii Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is on the Board of Directors for Kids' Chance of Hawaii, a nonprofit organization providing educational scholarships to children of Injured workers. Dr. Taylor has also co-authored the book, What Do I Do Now An Injured Worker’s Guide To Navigating Worker’s Compensation Insurance. Mill Press 2013.
Dr. Kerrey Barton Taylor holds two Bachelor of Science degrees from Northern Arizona University, Psychology and Microbiology. She received her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2002. She completed internship at Mesa General Hospital in Arizona, followed by a residency specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Medical College of Wisconsin where she was also served as chief resident. She completed her fellowship training in the Anesthesiology department at the Medical College of Wisconsin in an ACGME Pain Medicine program. Dr. Taylor holds an MBA with an emphasis in Healthcare Administration. Dr. Kerrey Taylor is one of the few physicians that is dual board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and in Pain Medicine.
Throughout her career, Dr. Taylor has treated patients with a biopsychosocial approach. She individualizes treatment plans for each patient which focuses on identifying the source of the pain condition, and restoring function. And, always treating the whole person.
She is one of the founders, currently on the Board of Directors and acting President of the Hawaii Society of Pain Physicians. She is also past President of the Hawaii Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. We treat many acute and chronic conditions in the areas of sports, spinal conditions, musculoskeletal conditions and pain associated with chronic disease conditions.
While we make every attempt to take most insurance plans, there are some insurance plans that we do not accept for various reasons. If we do not take your insurance, we are able to accept cash payment in certain conditions, and you can submit your claim to your insurance plan yourself for reimbursement.
We also value your privacy. We are extremely protective of your medical information and will always have you authorize any exchange of information to another party.
